We are Plattsburgh Robotics,
a non-profit 501(c)3.
We work with youth from ages 6-18 in Northern New York (Clinton, Essex and St. Lawrence counties) to provide experiential opportunities in STEAM outside of the classroom.
We accomplish this by providing youth the opportunity to participate in structured engineering and robotics activities weekly on Saturdays beginning in September and ending in March.
These Saturday meetings culminate with nationally organized set of competitions for 2 of the 3 levels we work with.
Meeting time lengths are different and age appropriate for the levels.
Levels we served in 2025
FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) is ages 13-18+
FIRST LEGO Challenge (FLL) is ages 9-14
FIRST LEGO Explore (FLL Junior) is ages 6-9

Completely Volunteer
We are a completely volunteer run organization.
We rely completely on donations from businesses, organizations, and individuals
Money and items only go so far. The kids need adults in the room that share their excitement and their lows. Excitement is easy. Helping a kid when they are struggling is a bit harder. The reward though, oh those smiles are worth it.
You don’t need to know anything about robotics. We will teach you.
